my entire life of paying my bills while not working was spent making images for magazines and other cultural expressions.
I needed -and received- carte blanche in interpreting the subject at hand, often by using existing images from my autonomous photo archive.
my quirky, associative approach to the image had to act as a brake on random scrolling by the reader, attracting curiosity toward the link with the header.
